A Woman for Women
I acknowledge that I am practicing and living on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Syilx (Okanagan) people. I recognize their deep connection to this land, and I honor the wisdom, knowledge, and culture of the Syilx Nation, both past and present. As I practice Chinese Medicine, I strive to respect and work in harmony with the land and its peoples, recognizing the importance of healing that encompasses both body and environment.
My Story
I was raised in a remote town just south of the Yukon border—home to only about 20 residents year-round. With the nearest city four hours away and no electricity until I was 15, I spent most of my childhood immersed in nature. Living so closely with the land shaped my deep appreciation for how our external environment affects our internal well-being.
My passion for medicine began early. I would spend hours poring over anatomical texts, fascinated by the human body and how it functions. In 2018, I turned that lifelong curiosity into a career, diving deeply into the study and practice of Chinese Medicine. Supporting others on their healing journeys quickly became one of my greatest sources of fulfillment.
I aim to create a space where patients feel safe to arrive just as they are. My approach blends the structure of Western anatomical science with the holistic philosophy of Eastern medicine, allowing me to treat the body as an interconnected whole. I believe that mind and body are not separate—they are deeply entwined and should be treated as such.
Over the years, I’ve developed a special interest in women’s health, fertility, menopause, autoimmune disorders, nervous system regulation, and chronic pain. These areas speak to me on both a professional and personal level. That said, my practice remains open to all, and I welcome each patient with warmth, curiosity, and respect.

My Offerings
Acupuncture 针灸
Herbal Therapy中药
Chinese herbal medicine uses natural plant-based formulas to support the body’s healing and balance. For women, these herbal prescriptions can help with a wide range of issues— aiming to treat the root cause, not just the symptoms. When guided by a trained practitioner, Chinese herbs are a gentle, effective way to care for your body and overall well-being.
Acupuncture is a gentle, natural way to support women’s health at every stage of life. By placing very thin needles at specific points on the body, it helps restore balance and encourage the body’s own healing. Many women turn to acupuncture for support with menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy, hormonal balance, and menopause. It can also help with stress, sleep, and emotional well-being. Whether you’re looking for relief or simply want to feel more in tune with your body, acupuncture offers a safe and supportive approach.
Yang Sheng Fa养生法
Yang Sheng Fa is a key part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that means “nourishing life” or “the art of health preservation.” It includes practices that help maintain balance and prevent illness through daily habits and lifestyle choices. These can include things like:
-
Eating according to the seasons
-
Getting enough rest and sleep
-
Managing emotions
-
Moving the body gently (like with tai chi or qigong)
-
Breathing exercises and meditation
-
Living in harmony with nature
Rather than just treating illness, Yang Sheng Fa is about staying well by caring for both body and mind over time. It’s a gentle, mindful approach to health and longevity.
Tui Na 推拿
Tui Na is therapeutic massage in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that focuses on using hand techniques like pushing, kneading, and rolling to manipulate the muscles, joints, and energy points in the body. It's designed to improve circulation, relieve pain, reduce muscle tension, and promote the flow of qi (energy). Tui Na is often used to treat conditions like back pain, arthritis, headaches, and stress. It can be both relaxing and therapeutic, and is sometimes combined with acupuncture or herbal treatments for a more holistic approach to healing.
Cupping Therapy拔罐
Cupping is a therapy in Traditional Chinese Medicine where cups are placed on the skin to create a vacuum, either by heat or suction. This vacuum helps to increase blood circulation, release muscle tension, and promote the flow of qi and blood. Cupping is often used to treat muscle pain, stiffness, and inflammation, and it can also help with respiratory conditions like colds or asthma. After the cups are applied, they are typically left in place for several minutes. You might see circular marks on the skin afterward, which are temporary and part of the healing process.
Moxibustion 艾灸
Moxibustion is a traditional healing technique in Chinese medicine that involves burning dried mugwort near specific points on the body. The heat from the burning moxa helps to warm the area, improve circulation, and promote the flow of qi. Moxibustion is commonly used to treat conditions like cold, digestive issues, pain, and to support overall wellness. The heat can be applied directly to the skin or near the skin, depending on the type of treatment.
is a traditional healing technique where a smooth tool is gently scraped over the skin, usually on the back, neck, or shoulders. The scraping helps to increase blood circulation, release muscle tension, and promote healing.
